The 2022 XCMG XE55U is a compact yet powerful 5.5-ton zero-tail-swing hydraulic excavator designed for utility work, residential and commercial construction, landscaping, road maintenance, and site development projects. Powered by a reliable Kubota V2403 Tier 4 Final diesel engine, the XE55U delivers 42horsepower while meeting stringent emissions requirements. The engine utilizes EGR, DOC, and DPF emissions technology to provide strong performance, low fuel consumption, and dependable operation in demanding jobsite conditions. The excavator has an operating weight of 12,500-pounds with a bucket size 26". Designed to combine power and smoothness. The XE55U is also designed for lower maintenance cost with longer service intervals – resulting in more machine availability on-site. One of the machine's standout features is its variable-angle boom, capable of swinging approximately 70 degrees to the left and 53 degrees to the right. This design significantly improves productivity when digging alongside foundations, walls, and utilities without requiring constant repositioning of the machine. Combined with the short-radius tail swing, the XE55U excels in urban construction and confined excavation environments.
