Turn-key heli-portable environmental drill rig setup.The Model B-24 is a hydraulic model designed and tested on remote sites. It is a versatile low-maintenance full-range exploration rig that meets the worldwide demand for drilling in areas normally inaccessible by conventional machines. It is very adequate for soils and rock investigation, mineral exploration, piezometer installation, aggregate exploration, test coring permafrost, seismic and cathodic work, percolation test holes, shallow water wells, asphalt/coring seabed sampling. Heli-Portable Mobile B-24 Surveyor Drilling Rig• Can be used in conjunction with a Tracked Mini-truck for low impact and remote site accessibility, or flown with a helicopter and lifting sling.• 3”, 4” and 6” solid stem augers and tooling with various bits (spade and rock bits).• Custom “Box” skid frame mounted on walking beams with wheels, hitch and cable slings for heli transport.• 6,200 lbs of pullback.• 1,000 lbs torque.• All-Hydraulic (53 L reservoir) rig.• Design & Operating Features: Hydrostatic Rotation, Folding Mast for transport, angle holes from 0-90 degree, off-hole clearance-manual swing away head.• Powered by Kohler engine @ 25 HP (187 hours on Hobbs metre).• Achievable drilling depth to 5-11 m, with potential up to 18 m under ideal soil conditions.• Drill rig is heli-portable in three loads (each +/- 1800 lbs/818Kg) within Eurocopter A-Star B3 weight specifications under normal conditions* (B2 with modifications).o Drill Rig;o Basket for tools & accessories;o Side x Side/Kei Mini-Truck & Tracks. • Suzuki Carry (highway certified) included with 3 configurations – UTV tracks, highway tires and rims and ATV ties and rims.
